                       Featured Fruits
Blueberries: These bite sized Berries activate fat burning genes in your abdominal fat cells which assist with weight loss, and belly fat loss in particular. Treat yourself to a healthy fruit smoothie with Blueberries as a part of the mix, or even mix them in your yogurt and cereal to help start your day on the right foot.

Lemons: Lemons may seem acidic based on taste but in the process of being metabolized by the body, they actually alkalinize our body fluids and tissues. Having a alkaline balanced body enables your body to digest the foods you eat, gain the nutrients and dispose of the waste. Now I wouldn't recommend eating a Lemon as you would an orange, however, you can get your daily boost that lemons have for you by simply having a cup of hot water with lemon in the morning or maybe even at night before bed.

Apples& Pears: Apples and Pears are both packed with fiber that help increase your metabolic rate and stay full in between meals. Apples also contain a lot of pectin, at least 1%. This nutrient restricts the cells from absorbing fat, and it helps your body to remove fat from the cells. Sliced Apples& Pears are a perfect snack for anytime of the day.

Spice Burners

Fry the Fat with Peppers! Spice up your meals with hot peppers such as jalapenos, habaneros, green and red chilies, and cayenne pepper. Hot peppers contain capsaicin, the chemical that gives them their mouth-tingling pungency and peps up the heart and metabolic rate. A recent article in "Men's Health" magazine cites a study from Laval University in Quebec that discovered men who ate snacks and meals containing capsaicin-rich peppers burned more calories -- nearly 1,000 daily -- than the control group.
